BIRDWATCHING PARADISE IN THE UMKOMAAS VALLEY
Welcome to a Birder’s Paradise, with over 240 species of birds that have been recorded at Hella Hella. This is a wonderful environment in which to see a unique mixture of mistbelt forest and valley bushveld birds, but it is the endangered Blue Swallow that is the star of the show, as they breed in the grasslands overlooking the valley. Our forest and river view trail walks are the ideal activity with which to see the prolific birdlife in and around camp.
